Project Overview

The Orange County South Water Reclamation Facility project involved a series of upgrades to an existing water reclamation plant for Orange County Utilities in Orlando, Florida. The work addressed the facility's treatment systems and supporting infrastructure to keep pace with the county's water reclamation demands. Because these upgrades touched technical plant systems that are hard to visualize from engineering drawings alone, the client needed visuals that could show county decision makers what the completed facility would look like. PRESWERX partnered with the client's team to build that visualization.

Client Challenges

Presenting a plant upgrade defined by technical improvements required turning engineering level work into something a utilities audience could evaluate at a glance:

  • Making a set of unbuilt facility upgrades feel concrete before construction began.

  • Communicating how individual system improvements fit into the plant's overall operation.

  • Standing out in a competitive pursuit for an Orange County Utilities contract.

Together, these challenges called for visuals precise enough to carry a technical story on their own.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX produced a complete set of renderings and animations for the pursuit, turning the facility's planned upgrades into a visual story for the selection committee. The renderings showed the improved plant systems and infrastructure in finished form, giving Orange County Utilities decision makers a concrete sense of the completed facility ahead of construction. The animations guided viewers through the upgraded plant, tying individual improvements together into one continuous view of the finished project. Together, the deliverables made a technical plant upgrade legible to a nontechnical audience.

PRESWERX Approach

With a technical plant upgrade and no built facility to point to, PRESWERX centered the pursuit on visual precision.

  • Rendered each planned improvement to a finished level of detail.

  • Built animations that linked the upgraded systems into one continuous view of the plant.

  • Kept every visual focused on how the finished facility would look and operate.

The result was a set of visuals that made a technical upgrade easy to follow.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX delivered a full set of renderings and animations built to the standard of an Orange County Utilities selection process.

  • The renderings gave decision makers a finished view of the upgraded plant systems.

  • The animations tied individual improvements into one clear view of the completed facility.

  • The visuals made a technically dense upgrade easy for a non-technical audience to follow.

The client's team walked into the selection process with a clear, finished picture of the facility to support their story.
